I drew this a couple months ago for Kevin's birthday (), and just didn't get around to uploading it until now - I just kept meaning to, but never really actually did it. Ah well.

Anyway, for those of you who don't know, 'tis Dias Flac, the only bishounen on my List to ever have surpassed Magus (in theory only - somehow, despite Dias's equal coolness, equal angst, equal ruthlessness, equal cold-and-distant-ness, and FAR GREATER PHYSICAL ATTRACTIVENESS, I never had any feelings for Dias beyond uncontrollable drool), and Kevin's (my current 'Real Life Magus' if you will, though, as I have said before, they must be diametrically opposite) idol. Kevin often roleplays as Dias.

And for those of you who are really surprised by that lengthy parenthetical comment, hear this - okay, read it -
When Dias was a child, bandits killed his family, including his younger sister, who was the person he cared about most. Dias has since become tall, dark, brooding, and hot as hell, though the latter may be a product of the first three, and if it isn't, they certainly enhance it. Dias is always pretty (okay, very) rude and antisocial, and shows eternal disdain to anyone he deems 'weak' (namely, anyone who isn't him, especially Claude Kenni). About the only living person he actually seems to care about is Rena, a childhood friend, and often the second part of romance fiction written about him, though not his perfect match. Dias's eyes lack highlights in the Star Ocean TV series, and he kicks major arse with a sword. He hates almost everyone, but pays special attention to bandits.

Compare to Magus -
Magus was born Prince Janus of Zeal. His father died early on in his life. His mother went insane. His older stepsister (half-sister?) Schala and his cat Alfador, the people he cared for most, were, along with his ENTIRE HOME, ripped from him by an evil entity, and, for all he knew, his sister, cat, and what was left of his mother were killed. Essentially, he was orphaned, and lost in a strange time. Monsters took him in and raised him as 'the Magus,' and he took on the new name, eschewing his old one in favor of the title. As he never had any friends besides Schala and Alfador (dead for all he knew), he grew up, like Dias, tall, dark, brooding, and rather attractive, though, as before, the latter may be - screw it, IS - a product of the former three. He kicks major arse with uber-dark-magic. He hates everyone, except Schala and Alfador, and either blames everyone he hates for his troubled life, or considers them idiots. While most people in the time he wound up in figured him to be evil and ambitious, he's really just bent on revenge and couldn't care less about taking over the world. Magus has but one objective: Lavos must die.

Similar, no? Make Magus a little younger and they'd be equal, but as it is, Dias is better as Magus looks at least forty, while Dias is in his late twenties and looks it (drool). Waist-length blue hair on both of them, too. That never hurts.
